10K COURSE

**Virtual Registration option is available for those who are interested** If you sign up for the Virtual Irish race, you will have the entire month of March to complete your race distance. It's not necessary to send in your race results...unless you want someone to celebrate with! Then, please do send your results to run@bentonvillear.com. Virtual packets will be mailed beginning March 13.

If you're unable to run, but would still like to be involved, we have volunteer opportunities available! Course Marshals must be 18 and older.

Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick-up is available during the following days/times at the Downtown Activity Center, 215 SW A Street in Bentonville:

March 9: 8:00am-6:00pm

March 10: 8:00am-6:00pm

Volunteers:

We need YOU as a Course Marshal! Course marshals must be 18+ (or have supervision of an adult). Course marshals are responsible for keeping vehicles off of the course to keep the runners safe. This may mean helping drivers re-route to their destination away from the course, or simply holding traffic until the course reopens if there's not an alternate route available. Safety vests are required and are available at the Downtown Activity Center if volunteer doesn't own one. If you're interested in volunteering, check out our signup!

Race Day Information:

The 10K race begins first at 7:30am. Then, the 5K race begins at 7:45am. Please allow yourself enough time to park and get to the starting area at the Community Center. There is plenty of parking around the Community Center.

Your race packet contains your shirt, but it also contains a couple of important articles for your race participation...your race bib with your race number that's been assigned to you and corresponding shoe chip. Your race number should be affixed to the front of your outermost layer with the safety pins provided. Please be sure your bib is visible when you race! Your shoe tag MUST be attached to your shoe laces with the provided wire ties for the most accurate timing information. DO NOT CARRY THE CHIP IN YOUR HAND OR YOUR POCKET.

Step 1: Thread the wire twist ties under the shoe laces.

Step 2: Thread the shoe tag onto the wire twist ties.

Step 3: Secure the shoe tag by twisting the wire twist ties firmly together.

Be sure to turn in your shoe tag in the finish line area following your race! The shoe tags are reusable and expensive to replace!
