The Run Bentonville team is currently working to produce a high quality in person event for April 10th, 2021. We will make additional details available as we are able to finalize them.
We are excited to provide some of the staples they've come to know and expect from the Run Bentonville Half Marathon.
-Tech race shirt
-Unique Finisher Medal
-Award Winning Goodie Bag
-A course that takes you through the heart of Bentonville
-Great community support
-Entertainment along the course
-First Aid, EMS & Public Safety Support
Unfortunately, we will not be offering the Half Marathon Relay or 5k in 2020.
Our focus will remain on safety based on the latest guidelines provided. To prioritize the health and safety of all athletes, volunteers, and staff we are taking preventative measures and implementing the following:
Participants will have the opportunity to defer, not attend, or switch to a virtual event if they are experiencing any symptoms.
Race Guidelines & Protocols
-Limited Field Size according to state and CDC guidelines
-No race day or expo registration.
-No race day packet pick up.
-All participants are required to wear a mask or face covering except while actively participating in the event.
-Practice social distancing between athletes, volunteers, and staff at all times.
-Outdoor Packet Pick-Up
-To minimize large groups, all participants will start the race in a corral that they will be assigned to. Each corral will hold 50 participants. Corral assignments are based upon the estimated finish time given at registration. Each corral will start 3 minutes (approximately) after the corral before.
-No Touch Aid Stations
-Limited Access to the Square for non-runners
-Do not linger. Finishers will not be permitted to wait to other finishers. We will ask all participants to keep moving through the finish line chute.
-No award ceremonies on race day. Awards will be announced virtually and awards will be mailed to all winners.
